Lego discontinued a bunch of Super Mario building sets late last year, including the playsets themed around Donkey Kong. If you still want to pick one or two of them up, Amazon has restocked multiple Donkey Kong Lego sets. Most notably, you can get Diddy Kong’s Mine Cart Ride for $79. Originally sold for $110, Diddy Kong’s Mine Cart Ride is 1,157 pieces, which makes it the largest Donkey Kong-related Lego set by a wide margin and one of the most elaborate Super Mario expansion sets in general.

- Save on Lego Super Mario Starter Sets – Mario, Luigi, and Peach
Diddy Kong’s Mine Cart Ride lets you recreate mine cart-riding, airplane-flying, and rock-exploding challenges. It comes with four Lego figures from the the series: Funky Kong, Diddy Kong, Snaggles, and a Mole Miner. Lego Mario, Luigi, and Peach figures from the Super Mario starter sets can interact with the figures and mine cart track. All three Super Mario Lego starter sets are discounted at Amazon.
Amazon also has two of the smaller-scale Donkey Kong Lego sets in stock right now: Dixie Kong’s Jungle Jam is available for $19 (was $28) and the Rambi the Rhino figure set is $11. Just like the Diddy Kong set, these two restocked kits were retired last November alongside Donkey Kong’s Tree House.
Though Donkey Kong’s Tree House remains out of stock, there’s another way to get a Donkey Kong Lego figure. Lego’s new Mario Kart series includes the 387-piece Donkey Kong & DK Jumbo for $35.
Donkey Kong & DK Jumbo from the Lego Mario Kart lineup comes with the buildable figure shown below. It’s very similar to the figure from the original Tree House set, but instead of getting Donkey Kong’s house, you can zip around in a cart made from a barrel. DK’s Mario Kart kit may not be discounted, but you can save on multiple of the other playsets in the lineup. Lego Mario Kart debuted on January 1 with six playsets, and discounts are available for the Yoshi Bike, Baby Mario vs. Baby Luigi, and Toad’s Garage. Lego will expand the series with a 1,972-piece Mario Kart display model for adults on May 15.
